Auschwitz -- All these buildngs also have basements. In block 11, the “death block,” were starvation rooms, regular cells, and standing cells. The space was no more than 2 feet by 2 feet, and four men were forced to stand in the small cell for hours, while they were still required to also work. They were starved... many died standing up.
